Kerala: One person was killed and more than 20 injured in a massive explosion at a convention center in Kerala’s Ernakulam district. Yes, this bomb blast took place in the convention center of Kalamassery, Ernakulam district of Kerala, and the eyewitnesses said that it exploded more than once. A total of 3 explosions are said to have taken place. The blast took place at 9:30 am and the condition of five injured is critical. The injured have been shifted to Kalamassery Medical College.
The blasts occurred during a Christian Jehovah’s Witness convention. According to eyewitnesses, around 2,000 people were attending a religious meeting when the blast occurred. Fire brigade personnel and senior police officers are reportedly at the spot. Sources said that the preliminary assessment indicated that it was a terrorist attack.
