KATHMANDU: 80 people were killed in the powerful earthquake in Nepal. Hundreds were injured. The magnitude of the earthquake was 6.4 on the Richter scale. Buildings collapsed and walls of houses cracked. Hundreds of people are likely to be trapped under the rubble of the collapsed building. 36 in Rukum West region of Nepal,
34 people died in Jajarkot area. There is a possibility that the death toll will increase further. Many states of India also experienced earthquakes. Many places including Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand have experienced earthquakes. 3rd earthquake in last 1 month in national capital Delhi. Worried people came out of their houses and kept a vigil on the roads all night.
