H.C.ಮಹದೇವಪ್ಪ ಕೂಡ ನಂಜನಗೂಡಿನಿಂದ ಕಣಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಯಲು ಬಯಸಿದ್ದು, ಈ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ನಿಲುವಿಗೆ ನಾನು ಬದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇನ್ನ ಮೇಲ್ವರ್ಗದ ಬಡವರಿಗೂ 10% ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು ಅವಾಸ್ತವಿಕತೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದೆ. 4% ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಮೇಲ್ವರ್ಗ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ 10% ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಿಂದ ದಲಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಲಿದೆ‌‌. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪಕ್ಷದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ ಮುಂದೇನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಧ್ರುವನಾರಾಯಣ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ರು.
