First plane to land from Israel: 5 Kannadigas out of 230

Bengaluru: Operation Ajay has been launched to bring back Indians caught between Israel-Hamas war. The first flight carrying Indians from Israel has landed in Daheli.
A total of 230 Indians returned home and welcomed Union Minister Rajiv Chandrasekhar. Among the 230, there were five Kannadigas, who were warmly welcomed by TB Jayachandra, the Delhi Special Representative of the Government. At the same time, he said that he will discuss with the CM about the transportation cost to go from Delhi to Karnataka and take a decision.
Speaking to the media later, Jayachandra said, “I have spoken to the Kannadigas from Israel. The Karnataka government will take care of their welfare after coming to Delhi. The state government will make arrangements to deliver everyone safely to their hometowns. Arrangements will be made this time too, as was done in the context of the Russia-Ukraine war.
