Haveri: After hacking three members of the same family to death, the accused escaped in Haveri. The incident took place in Yallur village of Hanagal Taluk of Haveri district. Geeta Marigaudru (32), Akul (10) and Ankita (7) were the unfortunates who were killed. Kumar Gowda Marigaudru (35) murdered him and went missing.
Honnegowda is working in Dubai. Accused Marigaudru hacked his own elder brother Honnegowda’s wife and two children to death. The exact reason for the murder is not known. But it is suspected that the quarrel within the family was the reason for the murder. The CPI visited the spot and conducted an investigation and a case was registered in this regard at the Hanagal police station.
