Puducherry Transport Minister Chandra Priyanka has resigned from her post. It is said that she resigned citing many issues, including the problems she experienced as a woman leader of the Dalit community.
Chandra Priyanka (She was a minister from the All India NR Congress. She was the second woman minister in the 41-year history of the union territory. She said that she is resigning from the minister’s position as she realized that she cannot continue to fight against powerful forces and continue as a minister.
