Chitradurga: Former Speaker Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri said that DCM DK Shivakumar is expected to become CM tomorrow. Speaking to the media after conducting a drought study in Kolal village of Chitradurga, he said that CM Siddaramaiah has a feeling that he will stay in power for 2 days or leave. Also, there is a competition going on in the Congress as to who should be the CM and DCM, and the thirst for power has increased.
He alleged that there was a competition on the issue of power sharing and this government was not concerned about safeguarding the welfare of the people. Cauvery water is still flowing into Tamil Nadu and law and order has deteriorated in the state. He expressed outrage that Tipu’s sword-carrying procession was held in Shimoga, Kolar, and that the government was protecting the work of inciting communal feelings and spreading hatred.
