Horrible accident in Maharashtra: 12 devotees killed, 23 injured

Mumbai: 12 people were killed and 23 injured when a tempo traveler collided with a container on Samriddhi Expressway in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra, police said. The incident took place late at night and a speeding TT collided with the container. An official informed that a total of 35 passengers were traveling in the TT.
The accident took place around 12:30 midnight in Vaijapur area of the district, about 350 km from Mumbai. Reports said that the TT driver lost control and collided with the rear of the container. 12 passengers died in the incident, out of which five men, six women and one minor girl were identified. Officials said that the remaining 23 injured have been admitted to the government hospital.
