Police duty in the morning, theft at night: Head constable arrested

Bengaluru: It is the job of a police officer to catch a thief. However, the police officer himself has fallen into Khaki’s trap after stealing. A head constable who was stealing in a train was arrested by Baiyyappanahalli police station in Bangalore. Siddarama Reddy (37) is the arrested accused and he was the Head Constable of Chikkaballapur Railway Outstation. The police said that Sabanna (38) was assisting him in the theft. It is said that he used to make police duty in the morning and theft at night, and used to target passengers from Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Also, in August, he stole a passenger’s bag from a train near Baiyyappanahalli station and stole gold jewelery worth around 10 lakh rupees.
