Kolar: There has been a fatal attack on former Zilla Panchayat President M. Srinivas, who is a close friend of Congress leader and former speaker Ramesh Kumar of Kolar district Srinivasapur taluk. Six assailants attacked with weapons and escaped while going to work on a bar near Holagere Six assailants attacked with weapons and escaped near Holagere on the outskirts of Srinivasapur town. The incident took place when the bar went to construction work near Holagere. Srinivas, who was assaulted, has been admitted to Kolar Hospital and is being treated.
