Mysore: Former Deputy Chief Minister KS Eshwarappa has made a statement in Mysore that there should not be a Congress government in Karnataka. Speaking in the city, he said that there is a drought in the state. Farmers’ suicides are unaccounted for. Karnataka State is in such a situation. Not a single in-charge minister has heard the farmers’ problem. He lashed out that the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Ministers are also fighting over the post of CM.
This government has brought farmers to commit suicide in the state. So far not a single rupee has been released either for crop relief or drought relief. If you are giving your own statement despite what your leaders Surjewala and Venugopal have said, that means you have no discipline. No concern for farmers. Therefore, he lashed out that he has no authority to take the helm of the administration.
